Cannot give any ratings as the switch has not even begun. A text came through the day after which stated connection would start on the 24th of this month, May 2018. Once I initially completed signing up a page of text read connection takes between 3 to 7 weeks! However, I think is only a few days as we already have the necessary fibre stuff.

They're pretty good when everything is working fine. The moment things go wrong you're screwed. The waiting time on their support is in average 30-50 minutes. They seem to have no control of their technical teams and the repair times takes days. Also important note if you're using internet for more than browsing the internet - the router they send you is "their own brand" really made in China some cheap thing. There's no setup available on there, you're forced to use MyRepubl ...read more
Speed, never had any problems with that, price - they seem to be competitive

Customer service is obviously not high on there importance list
Long wait times to get through to them then usually get someone that can't or won't help you... pathetic

The plan I was on was overpriced. Customer support isn't really there and have hung up on calls after waiting an hour, on more than a dozen occasions. Changed providers early and paid a termination fee after being advised that Waikato residents were experiencing issues with the service due to an 'on-going problem', but no compensation would be provided for the duration of this problem (Which they had no idea how long it would last), but customers 'may' get something later. Was with myrepublic for 3 year 1st doing a 1 year then a 2 year contract can't complain I got the full speed on offer to me with no problems and am happy to recommend them to everyone. I only changed as I was able to get a better deal from stuff fibre thanks to broadbandcompare
No hassle service speed was great. Loved being able to leave a message on Facebook instead of ringing. Though ringing was faster. And great support when leaving will defiantly look at when it's time for a new contract. ...read more

Customer support was rude; had to call up multiple times to get things sorted.
Okay internet for the most pay
It took a long time to get internet; no one was on the same page

Pretty good experience all round, only problem that we had was the switch over to fibre but that got sorted pretty quickly so no stress. A+ ISP, definitely not leaving because i was dissatisfied at all just wanting a change/better deals.

We never got proper fibre speeds with them, Vdsl seemed to be the same as fibre and to make matters worse in the last couple of months of our contract it seemed like our internet would slow down towards the end of a billing cycle.
Easy to deal with initially
On going support - once the guy who signed me up had my signature he didn't want to know me.
