Price went up twice in the year we were with Orocn.Seems they just hike it annually.Took 1 month to get connection even though moving date and given time frame for connection. Faulty modem after 10 months-endless ph calls for support before they sent me a replacement.Had to demand it sorted before they did.stressful!then they tell me they have no record of the one i sent back and will maybe charge me for that when i ended contract.would not recommend Orcon at all.
Pros:
they provide a courier bag to return their modem
Cons:
Unlimited-so very slow-no good from 9-evening. Had to go on early hours of morning or late at night.Used my ph data instead to do banking.

Normally a good fast and reasonably reliable connection

Hardly ever slows down

Orcon were unable to repair fiber "fault". Sent multiple communications stating issue ressolved -when it wasn't. "Fault" resolved by switching provider.
Terriblely unreliable naked broadband phone. Which wasn't working at least 25% of the time. A huge waste of money.
Pros:
Call centre phone waiting time not too bad. Usually less than 10 mins.
Cons:
Waste of money.
Unreliable.
Multiple exit fees despite Orcon's inability to supply the service we paid for.

Poor support for an ongoing poor throughput issue. Great when it works but a real struggle to get a stable connection. Groan

Ive been with Orcon for many years now, have been offered so many other upgrades along the way. I find the Broadband to be really good, customer service is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Our current plan is Unlimited and works great, we are on the VoIP service and i dont recommend it
Pros:
Unlimited is great there are no extra charges and we can watch netflix as much as we like and surf the web etc
Excellent value for money
Support is good, speed is average
Cons:
When power is out there is no phone line to make calls
Sometimes our line cuts out and we constantly have to reset the modem
orcon wont send out a replacement modem. But told us to go and buy a modem from Noel Leemings or somewhere like that.

Will not be recommending orcon as an ISP. I inherited the account midway through the contract and had to deal with the company's service centre at different times. The representatives didn't seem to be able to deviate from their standard 'company' responses in response to basic questions/ queries.
