    NEON with Ultimate Home

    • With the Ultimate Home broadband plan 12 months NEON is included in the package. This offer is available from 19th October onwards.
    • You must activate your promo code within 60 days of receiving the activation email.
    • Vodafone will send all eligible broadband customers an email with a unique NEON promo code within 6-10 working days of the connection of their Broadband service. 
    • If you leave Vodafone while you are receiving your promotional NEON offer, your NEON will be cancelled.

    Activating your Promo Code

    • To activate NEON services, go to NEON neontv.co.nz/signup and enter your details and promo code.
    • If you are an existing NEON customer you need to cancel your current NEON subscription and wait until your subscription has completely finished before you can redeem your promo code.
    • If you’re currently on a NEON promo code and cancel, you’ll also cancel your current promotion. You’ll need to wait until the end of your current promotion before you can activate this promo code.
    • You can only use one promo code at a time.
    • NEON services will automatically end 12 months after the day the NEON services were activated.  If you want to continue NEON after 12 months, you will need to re-activate NEON directly through the NEON website(neontv.co.nz).
    • The promo code is for single use only and you cannot transfer your promo code to anyone else.

    Using NEON

    • Using NEON to stream videos will use data, and you will use any data entitlements available under your eligible Broadband plan.

Constantly feels like we're getting throttled in the evenings, massive ping spikes on pretty low bandwidth applications. Often times mobile devices take a loooong time to pick up packets and make a connection (regardless of router used).

Cons:

Throttling, price, router is trash, they send you a bunch of cable TV crap.

My plan concerns broadband and home phone with an additional separate plan for mobile.

Good luck trying to cut your ties with Vodafone. After switching to another ISP and receiving a written confirmation from Vodafone that they have removed my credit card details from file, I continue to be billed for a service that they no longer provide. I am now in the process of disputing the payment with my credit card company. I will follow with intrigue the NZ Commerce Commission's court hearing against them for just such a practice.

Cons:

Top marks for unscrupulous behaviour.

When I moved into my new house Fibre was available and Vodafone was the company that made getting hooked on so much easier than anyone else. I also had a vodafone cellphone at that time so I received a $10 per month discount on my Broadband bill. Since then, everything has run really smoothly and I have not had any issues. Each business day afternoon I notice a blip in the speed which is why I have only given it a 7. My plan is unlimited data as I have a student daughter living with me and she is always streaming videos or online shopping. I am a Netflix and Lightbox fan so we use a fair chunk of data...but we don't run out. ...read more

Seem to have a fast VDSL connection

Pros:

Fast enough for multiple devices to stream videos.

Cons:

Vodafone support not the greatest. But haven't had to contact much
