Full Flavour

Full Flavour is ultra-fast broadband provider. They are a local Tauranga-based business with an ethos of "love your internet". Everything their team does is with that ethos and the goal of helping you "experience the full flavour of the internet" in mind. Full Flavour sell their flat rate Ultrafast Broadband plans to residential and business clients all over The Giganet (Tauranga, Hamilton, Tokoroa, Cambridge, Te Awamutu).

They launched fibre services in Tauranga long before Spark, Vodafone & Slingshot did and they are considered the local leader for ultra-fast Broadband Fibre in Tauranga by their customers.

Full flavour has been awesome! The closest we come for service in our area was ridiculously expensive. The service I have received has been great! I can pay weekly so definitely not forced to use direct debit. And once we got use to the GB limits it's been quite easy to stay under the quota. Very happy with the service
Pros
Great service. Not expensive. Easy payment process. Reasonably fast connection considering where we are.
Cons
Cant get unlimited 4G service but I do understand why

Worst ISP ever. Buyer beware. They force direct debits on you, they don't keep their plans current with competitors, their website is badly designed, customer support is patchy and you must WRITE to them to end your contract 30 days in advance. I have left them and moved to another ISP yet they still got a free month's worth of payments out of me.

Trialed their RBI 4G plan for 2 weeks - shocking congestion every night 5-10pm, mostly unusable during this time. They claimed upgrading router/switching band or tower will help - so whats gonna happen to that tower/band after they switch everyone over to it I wonder?? Basically lost confidence in their 4G platform and cancelled. Went back to Spark 4G which is much better in comparison. Company is a bit arrogant to deal with - I'm in ICT and if the same scenario had happened to me, I'd accept customer's position and make sure they weren't out of pocket for the experience..... not this company...charged $220 for the 2 weeks I tried to use the service. ...read more

Salesman was pleasant enough on the day but didn't let on, or genuinely wasn't aware our area suffered such high congestion.
Cons
Hard to contact - phones are always diverted to an answering service.
Word of advice to Full Flavour - don't rollout an online automated scheduling service on your website if it doesn't actually work or go to anyone... initially used this online system to make an onsite signal test booking - got confirmation email but no one showed on the day... they had no knowledge of the appointment! ...read more
