Useless: in Europe the 'service' offering would contravene the consumer protection act
You have to be kidding me!
Utterly useless. In the year we have had the service the phone only worked in the last 5 weeks and the, so called, broadband is so degraded and contested as to be virtually unusable. I have spent literally hours and hour ...read more

I have been with Spark for several years now - Home line, Broadband and cellular. I don't consider them the cheapest but overall they give a great service and I am happy with them.
They seem to be the follower rather than the leader in pricing - awaiting to see if they are losing customers then move in offering existing customers with better deals. e.g rollover data and talk minutes on Cellular and increased speed on adsl.
If you are thinking of moving contact them and ...read more
For Support - use online chat. You can type in the problem and all the details - that way support team don't have to throw a lot of questions or guess what you are trying to say.
I have heard negative comments about th ...read more
Broadband slows down sometimes to a complete stop from 3 minutes to the hour too about 7 minutes past the hour. Why is this? Is everyone logging on at the same time?
Also - are they throttling down the speed on cert ...read more

Possibly the worst provider in terms of reliability. The connection cuts of for long periods on a day to day basis. Wouldnt have internet connection when needed the most. Have to toggle between 4g and this like right now. Yes you guys do have courtesy 4g, but doesnt help me using a diff mobile provider. Frustrated!!
The price (which i got switching from another provider)- usually not competitive
Disrubted connection, slow!

Only found out I was in huge arrears with Spark when I called in a fault. My weekly AP had been in place since commemcing act however no one bothred to phone me to let me know
Need to make person to person contact about billing. Do not leave customers unknowingly in arrears and reap more money via penalty fees!!!

Some of the other providers that Spark owns, are much better than Spark, e.g. NOW.
None.
(1) Have network connection card issues at many exchanges and are very reluctant to reset those cards when requested. Resetting usually fixes the go-slow problem.
(2) Have dreadful customer service and Call Centre respo ...read more

Inflexible plans. Rather than offering less features at economic rates, Spark offers more and more 'features' at a higher monthly cost. Ultimately they loose out to providers offering more value with better selection options for the services they provide.

Service is pathethic
There are not clear realistic timeframes.
They talk about fibre but it takes ages for them to action the request and follow up with Chorus. But again, ths wont guarantee connection.
All the support team does is sympathies rather than solving the problem or expediting it to ease things for u.

Prices kept going up. Apparently there was a special offer which was available to me but they didn't advise me of that until I indicated that I wanted to terminate the contract.
Good reliability and reasonable speed most of the time
Cost. Also difficult to get hold of for advice - The chat link kept on dropping out while I was looking for help on my existing connection - very frustrating and the phone line had a long wait on it - I used a differen ...read more
